原爆の強力な殺傷力を訴え、世界で管理すべきと訴える劇場映画。広島長崎の被爆者映像が少しだけあり、日映製作の映画から引用されていると思われる、ドイツと日本でも核兵器が開発されていた可能性とその場合のアメリカの被害をアニメーションで視覚的に訴えている、核兵器は、爆撃機、潜水艦、ICBMでアメリカに運ばれると描き、まだ実現してないICBMによる戦略核を示している

原爆で破壊された広島・長崎の様子を伝える軍内部用ニュースか。戦後早期に広島・長崎に入ったアメリカ戦略爆撃調査団の撮影した、広島、長崎のフィルムが使われている様子。アメリカ兵が崩壊した広島長崎の町の被害を見て歩く。被爆者映像はない。長崎では一部に空撮あり。
